Michelle is a mother of three who has lived in a small country town all her life.
She opened Country Rose Designs in the fall of 2006 primarily as a painting business.
Though she enjoyed painting murals and fine art canvases, her love for photography and demand of incoming portrait clientele inspired her to put the paint brush down. Her passion for capturing God's beauty in nature and in people fueled her towards refining her gifted vision, eventually revamping her studio and business name to
Michelle Cook Photography.
Michelle feels blessed to have a successful career that is also her passion. Her drive to capture and create has also gotten her recognized nationally and internationally in award competitions.
She was selected from thousands of photographers to represent Kodak and her winning image was displayed on their marquee in Times Square, NY. She has been awarded as a Top 7 Photographer in Michigan (PPM) for 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015. She has won several awards in PPM including the Award of Merit and Court of Honor. She was recognized in Professional Photographers of America (PPA) as a Platinum Photographer of the Year and has been selected into the Top 10 three times; winning 1st place in Animal category and 4th in Illustrative category in 2018.
Michelle looks forward to furthering her career in portrait and fine art photography, giving back to her small town community and to the community of photographers that uplift her.
